Simon was Managing Director of Compliance Consultants Limited, the longest established compliance consultancy firm in the UK, and has over 20 years in financial services, 13 of which have involved significant compliance responsibilities.

Simon started his career in financial services in 1981 and has practical experience of the banking/lending, fund management and the financial intermediary sectors. In 2003 Simon was asked by the FSA to join the Compliance Consultants Steering Group, an organisation formed to facilitate a communication channel between consultancy firms and the FSA and promote the professional standards of consultancy firms. The Steering Group has now formed the trade body, “the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants”, and Simon is now the Chair. He is also a regular speaker at conferences and writes on compliance issues in the financial press.

Compliance Consultants Limited was formerly part of the Compliance.co.uk Group which also owned CS Compliance Solutions and Grainger Consulting.
